Family FM is a community radio station that is centered on building strong family values through its broadcasted content.
The programming is designed to deliver a well balanced content that satisfies the interests of people from all backgrounds irrespective of their ethnicity, cultural background, religious background or gender. Family FM therefore positions itself as:

While providing inspirational messages, references backed by Christian faith may be referred to owing to the fact that majority of the volunteering hosts currently have a Christian background.

Radio Station Studio at Dublin 24
Our Studio in Dublin is located at cookstown industrial estate Dublin 24, one of the biggest suburban areas in Dublin. It is mostly made up of Tallaght and borders the Dublin/Wicklow Mountains. The area is home to ‘The Square’ shopping centre, Tallaght Institute of Technology, The Civic Theatre, the National Basketball arena, Shamrock Rovers FC and Tallaght Hospital.

Tallaght is a massive multiracial, multi ethnic urban sprawl and a thriving suburb of Dublin. Owing to the fact that a significant number of listeners within our geographic coverage are multiracial, we aim at creating a “feel at home, away from home mood”, through our broadcasted talk shows and entertainment. As part of our community development and empowerment policy Family FM has purposed to air radio programs that promote the integration process of persons with immigration backgrounds and those with mixed origins. In our programming we shall therefore focus on cultural integration, social integration, education integration as well as economic and financial integration for our listeners.

Community Participation and Training
As a part of our community participation policy, we are constantly on the look out for volunteers who have interest in radio broadcasting, in journalism involving content editing for news or radio DJs. Family FM will organize community involvement sessions and trainings for the volunteers with little or no experience on a regular bases in the Dublin 24 studio. Where applicable, training sessions will be held at the annex studio in Castlerea Co. Roscommon. The facility provides well equipped studio with ample space to support trainings and talent development.

Our Programming
The programming of Family FM is designed to be family friendly and is focused on promoting the well being of the Family, as the most important unit in the society. The key programs that shall be aired daily will include the following:
–Early Breakfast show that focuses on PARENTING
–Breakfast Show that is centered on CUTLURE TALK, CLIMATE CHANGE and INTEGRATION OF IMMIGRANTS
–Mid-Morning Show which is the FAMILY CLINIC and covers MENTAL HEALTH/ DRUG ABUSE/ HEALTHY FAMILY LIFE
–Evening Show on the MONEY MASTERCLASS, a show that aims at equipping listeners with money making options in order to be financially independent
